After releasing the election schedule on Wednesday, VS Sampath, the Chief election Commissioner has addressed the media and said that there will not be any complicatedness as far as the elections in the state was concerned, even if the President’s rule was persisting in the state and bifurcation gazette was published.

New Delhi: After releasing the election schedule on Wednesday, VS Sampath, the Chief election Commissioner has addressed the media and said that there will not be any complicatedness as far as the elections in the state was concerned, even if the President’s rule was persisting in the state and bifurcation gazette was published. He said the entire government machinery will be in the hands of the election commission for the smooth conduct of polls.

He said that just after the completion of the process of alarming general elections, the process of reorganization of the constituencies in Andhra Pradesh will be undertaken. Further, he said in order to make out the crime verification and to avoid exploitation of black money in the elections, a special committee has been appointed.

Sampath said that with the help of their own staff, the election commission would visit each and every home to issue the voter slips. He said the date for fresh registration of voters has been extended till March 9.
