Wagah border attack mastermind killed
Wagah border attack mastermind killed, The Wagah border attack was launched on November 2 that killed 60 people, reported Dawn News.
Karachi: The alleged mastermind of Wagah border attack and Lahore chief of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Roohullah alias Asadullah has been killed in the provincial capital's Burki Road area along with two associates, said sources in law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
The Wagah border attack was launched on November 2 that killed 60 people, reported Dawn News.
Law enforcement officials said that a joint raid was launched at a house located on Burki road in the outskirts of Lahore.
Police said that their party, part of the raid, came under gunfire when they entered the neighbourhood.
The exchange of fire lasted for about 30 minutes, according to police officials.
A huge quantity of detonators, militant literature, arms, explosives, suicide vests, and other equipment was found during the search of the house.
