In what would be a first, MP Governor Ram Naresh Yadav is in dock for cheating and rigging competitive exams.


The Madhya Pradesh governor has been advised by the Union Home Ministry to step down after he was named in an FIR of the recruitment test exam scam (Rs. 150 crore) in the state after the investigative agency STF probing the MPPEB scam registered an FIR against him.

Governor Ram Naresh Yadav is allegedly involved in the irregularities in recruitment of forest guards under various sections of IPC, including 420 for cheating.


While Ram Naresh Yadav has been charged for criminal conspiracy in rigging forest guard recruitment examination, his son Sailesh has been named in an FIR pertaining to scam in contractual teachers recruitment exam. MPPEB scam involves several politicians, senior officials and businessmen.


The Governor had allegedly sent a list of three candidates to MPPEB racketeers asking the latter to ensure that they pass the written examination of forest guard recruitment examination held in 2012, said sources. And, the Governor had used his official letter pad to do so.
