Prior to the assembly elections in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Gaya on Sunday, saying he could sense change of winds in the political scenario.

Here are the highlights:

I have a complaint. I came to Gaya, in this venue at that time. It was peak poll season. But today double strength is here.

Can sense a change of winds in the political scenario.

People have decided they want to make a strong Bihar & they've also taken the decision on Parivartan.

These elections are about making Bihar free from Jungle Raj and an arrogant government.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the high profile 'parivartan' rally.

Drones have been put in place for surveillance while over 2,000 police constables and 1,000 magistrates and police officers have been deployed on rally duty.

Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has vowed to organize nine rallies in support of all the three parties constituting the Janata Parivar in Bihar, to give a fitting reply to Prime Minister Modi.

The assembly polls in Bihar would be held most likely in September or October this year.

The BJP, which along with its allies had won 31 of the 40 seats in Bihar in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, is set for a battle against a united Janata Parivar comprising of the JD (U) and RJD.
