The doctors, nurses and medical staff at Apollo Hospitals Old Mahabalipuram Road, Vanagaram, and Greams Road have been working relentlessly to provide medical aid to those left stranded by the deluge. Apollo is also tending to patients coming in from other hospitals that were evacuated due to a rise in the water level.
A helpline service has been started and the Apollo team has been actively providing information on their social media pages. 12 pregnant women who reached out to the Apollo team via Facebook are now being given medical assistance.
