The 18th Annual Quality of Living Survey of Mercer which is a global human resources consulting firm confirms a list of the world’s best cities to reside in. And Among the Indian cities, the City of Nizams, Hyderabad has surpassed the race and crowned the list!
Hyderabad is ranked 139 out of 230 (Wow!) which is why it has been tagged with the ‘Best city to live in’ title.
Honestly, Mumbai is luxurious and pricey and one cannot simply deny that! Yes, people call it the City of Dreams but somehow with the rapid growth of population and hardcore competition, the dreams apparently get faded. And Delhi, that one city which is filled with a mixture of cultures from north to south and till east to west but at present, has become too suffocated for many to look for job prospects and settle peacefully. So, who says there cannot be any better place to live in? Who says you cannot fulfill your dreams in a different city? Seriously, who knows? To make your wishes come true, Hyderabad is the city you should look for as it will suits your needs.
Why Hyderabad is preferred more than Mumbai and Delhi, one must be pondering over that. It is because according to the survey, Hyderabad has got better employment opportunities and most importantly low housing rent (something which is a need!). These two reasons are enough to make the City of Pearls, the best city to live in.
You might think that it is just some another dull survey as any other but sadly to disappoint you since you are highly mistaken. After comparing the living situations of around 440 cities in the world, this survey has been forwarded and based on which, the ranking has been made. Not just a few aspects like jobs scenario and low priced houses but everything from political, social environment to education and health, were taken into consideration while giving away the ‘Best City’ tag to Hyderabad.
Also, not to forget to mention that apart from Hyderabad, Pune has been ranked second best city to live. And Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai have also climbed up the ladder.
So now, if you aren’t thinking of settling in Hyderabad but at least you can give it a thought to visit the beautiful city. Also, if you are a foodie, Hyderabad is the right place for you! If not anything, the ‘Hyderabadi Biryani’ is sure to make you stay. And not just that, there are many more dishes and places to dive in! Because once you set your feet in Hyderabad, you might think of altering your plans!
