This wedding invite is a sure stunner

​Hyderabad: Mining baron and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy is again in the news, but this time for a big fat wedding card on his daughter's marriage.

The mining baron has given a new twist to the big fat Indian wedding by designing the invitation with innovative idea as it comes in a box equipped with video message on the LCD screen.

Reddy's daughter Bramhani's wedding is scheduled on November 16 and engagement ceremony was performed in September on a grand note. If you open the invite box, a little LCD screen turns alive with a song and a text announces 'Bramhani Weds Rajeev Reddy.'

Then comes a message from Gali Janardhan Reddy accompanied with his wife and son saying 'Atithi Devobhava’ - or lip syncs.

In a setting that puts Bollywood to shame, the bride and groom are introduced and shown eyeing each other coyly. Everyone sings. The bride swirls her lehenga and runs in slow-motion. The groom is introduced with white stallions in the backdrop.

The one-minute video ends with a close-up of the family as the date and venue are announced.His daughter's wedding is widely expected to be a star-studded event and a grand show of opulence, quite like the engagement ceremony last month.
