NEW DELHI: On Friday, the last day of the Monsoon Session of the Parliament, the Congress decided to skip the breakfast party to be hosted by Vice President and Rajya Sabha chairperson M Venkaiah Naidu. The Congress is upset with him for not allowing its parliamentarians to raise concerns over the Rafale jet deal in the Upper house.

Providing for establishing National Sports Authority in Manipur and bringing changes to the Homeopathy Central Council made the Congress upset as they were pushed through despite their protest.

They skipped the breakfast to protest against Naidu's 'partisan' role in conducting the house. The party is hosted at 9:30 am for the appointment of his new Deputy chairperson of Rajya Sabha, Harivansh Narayan Singh.

The other that made Congress annoyed is the decision if the government to introduce the Triple Talak bill in the Parliament today. On Thursday, the Union Cabinet approved three amendments to the proposed 'Muslim Women Protection of Rights on Marriage Bill'. Friday’s session would be the last day of Parliament Session.
