Giving self rule power to telanganities is not enough. Telangana demand was a people’s movement born out of their problems and agitations were aroused because of backwardness of the region. Today, once more people of telangana were oppressed and suppressed by every leaders of nation and have not understood the real pain of telanganites and their demand for the separate statehood.

Development of telangana region is essential and the scope of development is not possible without giving the package and special status to eliminate the backwardness of the region At the outset, telangana region has no other developed area or city other than Hyderabad.

Inadequate and declining water supply is one of the most significant problems facing most farmers in telangana region, not only a constant concern but also a major source of increased expenditure. The uneven distribution and unequal access to canal irrigation and the decline of other surface water sources have led to greater dependence on the exploitation of groundwater, which entails substantial costs on individual cultivators.

If you remember earlier telangana region accounts for as many as two- thirds of the total number of suicides reported in the state between 1998 and 2006.

Thus, establishing the water rights and rehabilitating and modernizing the irrigation systems are essential to further its contribution to agriculture and generate employment and economic growth. Whatever the industries or small scale industrial units were available earlier in backward area like telangana region, were unable to compete with global products either in quality and prices.

The decline in the quality of public provision has pushed even poor farmers to private health care and education. This has added to farmers’ problems, as high medical expenses have led many cultivators into deep debt. Public expenditure on health has to be raised and used to provide good quality low cost care to rural households. Due to lack of quality education in rural areas, the information technology could not provide enough employment.

More budgetary resources have to be allocated to education, particularly to primary and secondary education in rural areas. By introducing simplest technologies, education can be immensely improved.

Above all the newly declared state needs to progress as a unit. People are suffering across the state and they need a solution. Government should initiate to provide realistic package along with Special Status for at least 10 years which facilitate for the progression of telangana region.
