Advantage OPS, BJP in TN – Time is up, be a cause, not victim or witness
The days are over and the people of Tamil Nadu must start working towards making a new Tamil Nadu by being the cause for such change than a mere victim or witness, live rest of the life in yell and complains.
The days are over and the people of Tamil Nadu must start working towards making a new Tamil Nadu by being the cause for such change than a mere victim or witness, live rest of the life in yell and complains. The aspiration of the youth in TN is shifting towards bringing a great change in TN politics than settle with linguistic identity politics as if the linguistic identity of Tamil Nadu is under threat or may get stolen.
The changing landscape of TN politics certainly shows silver lining in the dark clouds. The Dravidian politics has not just spoiled TN but it had in fact rotten the state. All pervasive corruption, lots of scholars with poor quality of education, money as mean and end of life & its existence, politics in every sphere of life etc., are sickening the life of people of all strata of the society in TN.
Dravidian movement had questioned and challenged the superstition, idol worship etc., only to replace their name and cutouts to be worshiped as God and demi-god by people. Majority of people of TN these days may rather like to build temple for Periyar than follow his principles and values that he has preached and lived for, all through his life.
Today, many interior roads and small towns in TN get chocked often due to mad traffic and the most common cause for such traffic jams is due to various religious festivals in temples that are built almost at every 5 kilometer distance. What we can find so commonly in Tamil Nadu these days are the state owned liquor shops and temples.
May be to make the state appear highly literate, the quality of education has been slashed down badly in the state. As a result, we have produced graduates, post graduates, doctors and doctorates with least quality or knowledge, many citizens feel.
One of the reasons being, most of the educational institutions are owned by politicians or their ghost fellows as business enterprise. Therefore the untold or secretly told instruction to the teachers can be that the students who join such college should not fail. Further they should get distinction and above, only then the students can be attracted to the college next academic year by showcasing the talents that the college has already produced. This deal has really struck the mind of most students and parents because even if they have to pay hefty capitation fee, their wards can secure degree certificate and may be with distinction.
The big question is why the talents feel shy to accept NEET exam? When people can secure centum even in all languages, why they develop the unfound fear towards NEET?
Should we not provide quality education or produce large number of graduates, post graduates, doctors, doctorates to find their life messy even after being highly qualified.
Once upon a time considered to be a dream course of many students in TN – Biotechnology has been spoiled by re-naming the courses like Botany and Zoology as plant and animal biotechnology just to attract the students to join such courses. Unfortunately the course content almost remains unchanged and so were the teachers of the new course. As a result we have plenty of biotechnologists with least connect either in biology or technology.
Today the representation of TN students in IISc, AIIMS, IIT’s, IIM’s are fast dwindling purely due to poor quality of education. Many students are highly stressed and disillusioned in the bazaar of education in TN with variety of products and what it really means to their life.
TN people are yarning for a change. The change that they yarn and aspire is not the change from one Dravidian party to another. But they want the state to be free of Dravidian politics and freebie culture. They are asking for creation of opportunities and competitive educational system and not liberal examinations and generous evaluation.
Today both OPS (O Pannerselvam) and Modiji have captured the imagination of youth in TN. Tamil Nadu is a state of intelligentsia but the Dravidian politics has ruined it to linguistic patriotism.
Many people in interior TN are graceful to Modiji for the PM’s housing scheme and cooking gas reach. The rural people are looking passionately for an opportunity to thank Modiji for the much needed changes that he had bought in their life.
Similarly the clean image and the sincerely of Mofoi Pandiarajan is also well appreciated by people. If Mr. OPS, Mofoi Pandiaranaj and Modiji start communicating to every Tamilian from today onwards, bringing a sweeping change in Tamil Nadu is not a distant dream.
Today the internet reach and media penetration are quite high in TN. Therefore the vision for Tamil Nadu must be swiftly prepared by both OPS and Modiji and must be shared to people on daily basis.
Shifting the ground reality from money politics to development politics is not easy but certainly not impossible. Many educated people are willing to participate in transforming Tamil Nadu and liberating the state from Dravidian politics.
People of Tamil Nadu wants to be the cause for such transformation and no more wants to be witness or victims of the same old regressive and linguistic identity based politics where dynasty and family interest become paramount.
