`10 per plate meals a huge hit

Nirmal:In an initiative started by the eminent social worker and business tycoon, Rama Rao Patel, the much awaited Radhamma Bhojanalayam was launched on February 1.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, Patel said “I was moved to tears when I came to know that almost 19 crore people across the country starve without food.

Immediately, at that moment, I made up my mind to contribute my part to eliminate the hunger pangs of the people by serving full meals with a moderate amount of Rs 10. Even the minimum amount Rs 10 is collected to meet the expenses for the cooks".

The initiative taken by Rama Rao Patel had been lauded by many people around the district and they also decided to contribute to serve humanity to the best of their ability.

Serpentine queues were seen around the location and people were found waiting for their food. Especially, as it is the cotton season on in Bhainsa town, this initiative came as blessing for the farmers who come from a long distance to get their cotton sold. They can get a meal without much trouble.

Apart from this noble cause, Patel has always been active in social service. He started giving free coaching for the students and candidates who work hard to get their dream job.

The institute started in 2014 has also garnered accolades from various organisations and motivated many teachers around the town to play their part by being a part of this initiative.

Patel has always been a source of inspiration for many as he is constantly in touch with people knowing their problems and giving his best to the people helping them to come out of their issues and problems.

Hope this move of a full meal for a small amount of Rs 10 can inspire any others around the State and help them benefit the people in getting the food at an affordable price.

Patel believes in the dictum,” Service to Man is service to God” and is sincerely implementing it.
