Bodhan (Nizamabad): Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president and Member of Parliament K Chandrasekhar Rao predicted the downfall of the UPA government in May. Addressing a meeting organised in connection with the Congress leader Girdhavar Gangadhar joining the TRS party here on Wednesday, the TRS chief also predicted that there would be an alliance government in the State also.
He said that if all TRS candidates were elected to all the MP and MLA seats, all these parties would come after us offering to carve out Telangana. He said that we have to achieve Telangana not by begging but by ordering as told by the late Professor Jayasankar.
He ridiculed the dharnas staged by the political parties and said all these dharnas were not against power cuts but to come to power. He assured the people that there would be 24-hour power supply if Telangana state was formed. He demanded that the chief minister should immediately visit Nizamabad where four people died in the recent heavy rains and announce ex gratia.
