Sumptuous lunch � comprising 18 non-veg and several vegetarian items � would be arranged to about 40,000 activists. Sripathi Srinivas kcrNizamabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief and senior leaders plan to celebrate party Foundation Day on a grand scale at Armoor in Nizamabad district on April 27. The grand celebrations would be held at Nimmala Gardens (near Armoor) which is just 100 mts from National Highway. In this connection, it is to be noted that the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy recently indicated that elections to Gram Panchayats and local bodies would be held shortly. The TRS, by celebrating the party Foundation Day on a grand scale, wants to send signals to the leaders of other parties to join the TRS in a big way. Armoor Assembly constituency TRS in-charge Jeevan Reddy told The Hans India the party plans a massive programme to mark the occasion. Large size settings, cut-outs, banners, party flags would be decorated all over Telangana region welcoming the delegates to the meeting venue. It may be recalled that TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao, during the early days of launching the party, collected a sample of soil from Mothe village in Velpur mandal in the district where the candidate belonging to TRS was elected unanimously as Gram sarpanch. Mr. Sanigaram Santhosh Reddy was the first ZP chairman to join TRS. Later, the party was able to secure 10 Zilla Parishad chairman posts within a short span of time. The TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao expects that several leaders � MPs and MLAs � belonging to Congress and TDP � would join TRS on the Foundation Day. TDP MLA Gangula Kamalakar (from Karimnagar district) had already joined TRS. Warangal MP Siricilla Rajaiah and three other MPs are likely to join TRS in the presence of KCR at the meeting on April 27. Mr. Jeevan Reddy said that nearly 250 delegates from each district in Telangana were invited to participate in the celebrations. The delegates would mobilize party activists from their areas to the meeting. Sumptuous lunch � comprising 18 non-veg and several vegetarian items � would be arranged to about 40,000 activists. There is a big irrigation tank on the northern side of the meeting venue befitting 'Vasthu'. Separate galleries for MLAs, MPs, for Press and other VIPs would be arranged at the sprawling gardens. Adequate arrangements for parking of vehicles will also be arranged, Mr. Jeevan Reddy added. The meeting venue is easily accessible for the party men coming from Adilabad, Warangal, Medak and other districts. Telangana Jagruti Samithi (TJS) chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha and other leaders inspected the meeting venue and expressed their satisfaction.
