A product of Hyderabad-based Global Table Tennis Academy (GTTA), Varun, making admirable use of his top-spin skills, defeated his practicing partner and State No 1 B Vishnu 12-10, 11-7, 11-5 in the title clash. Earlier, he drubbed AP No 2 A Adwaith of Anandnagar Welfare Academy 3-0 in the semifinals.
