Chennai: Good news is ahead for Tennis lovers. The 19th edition of the Chennai Open will present many tope seeded tennis players such as World No.8 Stanislas Wawrinka, No.15 Mikhail Youzhny, No.16 Fabio Fognini and defending singles champion Janko Tipsarevic.
The other prominent players will be seen in the field are France’s Benoit Paire, Canada’s Vasek Pospisil, Spaniards Marcel Granollers and Roberto Bautista-Agut, and Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vesselin.
It is learnt that the 28-year-old Wawrinka will be visiting Chennai for the sixth consecutive year to compete for the crown after a terrific season where he also qualified for the ATP World Tour Finals.
The tournament is going to be very excited, said one of the tennis lovers from Chennai and said he will not miss out even a single match of the tournament.
