Winning debut for SRK in CPL T20

Port of Spain: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is on cloud 9. His recent acquisition, Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel, won the Caribbean Premier League T20 title on Sunday. Trinidad beat Barbados Tridents by 20 runs at the Queen's Park Oval, in Port of Spain, after South African Cameron Delport (50 off 38 balls) and Pakistan’s Kamran Akmal (60 off 46) guided the team to a massive 178 for 5.

Chasing 179 for victory, Barbados fell 20 runs short. Opener Dwayne Smith (40 off 30) was out in the tenth over and, thereafter, none of the other batsmen could take the team across the finish line. Sulieman Benn was the pick of the Trinidad bowlers, finishing with figures of 2 for 24. Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently in Bulgaria shooting for Rohit Shetty's film Dilwale couldn't contain his excitement.
