They beat St Gabriel's HSS (Chennai) 3-0 in the Junior Boys’ category, with Sunil Bathala (3rd, 58th) scoring a fine brace and Manoj Bardawal (53rd) doing the scoring.
Results: Junior Boys: TSS (Hyd) bt St Gabriel's HSS (Chennai) 3-0; College Boys: Hindustan University (Chennai) bt Wesley Degree College (Hyd) 12-0; Senior Boys: Evaans Matric HSS (Chennai) bt St Mary's Junior College (Hyd) 4-1; School Girls: PS Senior Secondary School (Chennai) bt TSS Hakimpet 1-0.
