Srikakulam: The statement of Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy against YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jaganmohan Reddy has stirred up a hornet's nest as the party leaders and workers staged protests across the State condemning his utterance. The YSRCP leaders and activists burnt the effigy of Finance Minister here on Saturday in protest against his vitriolic attack on Mr Jaganmohan Reddy. On this occasion, YSRCP youth wing district president Hanumanthu Kiran condemned the statement of the Finance Minister and recalled that Anam had put a 60-ft cutout of Jagan for his birthday when YS Rajasekhara Reddy was at the helm. "I was surprised over the statement of the Minister as earlier he asserted that if Jagan was not made the Chief Minister, State would be in turmoil. But now he changed the track and was showing indifference towards the YS family. The Congress leaders were competing with each other in levelling allegations against Jagan and his family with an ulterior motive," he alleged.
