Google Unwilling Partners Inside One Device

Washington: The attempt of Microsoft and Google to set aside their sworn rivalry and share their place as the operating systems inside the Asus Transformer Book Duet TD300 has reportedly not turned out well.
Citing political reasons, Nathan Brookwood, principal analyst at Insight 64, said that neither Microsoft not Googlecan be very happy about it.

According to Cnet, the Duet created a buzz at CES in January (see video at bottom), with both Asus and Intel promoting the device as a way to bridge the gap between mobile ( Android) and desktop ( Windows).
Meanwhile, Asus is also faced with plenty of technical challenges like how it plans on coming up with a way to easily share files across the competing operating and file systems.
