Hyderabad: After the state bifurcation and the emergence of Telangana as the 29th state of India on June 2 - the appointed day of the state, the employees of the state government have rendered their services in the independent state for a month.
On Tuesday, the state government employees are getting their 27 ½ days salary for the month of June 2014. It is evident that the state government employees have contributed a portion of their salary towards the state development; also, they were paid for June 1, along with the May month’s salary that was paid as early as on May 24. Considering all these factors, salaries for 27.5 days have been credited into the accounts of the employees.
Speaking to the Hans India, one of the state government employees said that they were thrilling to take the first salary on Tuesday in the independent state.
