Warangal: Telangana Rashtra Samithi government has adopted a comprehensive approach towards all-round development of Warangal district, said MP Kadiam Srihari.
Speaking to the media persons at the party district headquarters here on Sunday, he listed out a series of measures that were in the offing on different fronts for the purpose.

In a bid to address the power shortage in the state, the government proposed to build two new power projects each one of 660 MW capacity at Bhupalpalli in the district. The Genco would undertake the project and executed it in the next five years to improve the power generation in the state. For the purpose of industrial development and employment generation, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has written a letter to the union government asking it to establish a Composite Textile Mill in Warangal.
MPs from the district have also met Union Textiles Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar and pressed for the mill. Responding positively, the Centre has sanctioned the mill..
A high-level team from National Textile Corporation (NTC) would soon be visiting Warangal city to inspect location for the proposed mill, Srihari said adding Warangal was expected to be in the list of 100 smart cities soon to be announced by the central government.
