Will KCR Accept BJP’s Challenge. There is no doubt that if something is there on the cards for political parties in Telangana, it is the Medak by-election. The Medak Lok Sabha seta is in the eyes of TRS, Congress and BJP parties.
There is no doubt that if something is there on the cards for political parties in Telangana, it is the Medak by-election. The Medak Lok Sabha set is in the eyes of TRS, Congress and BJP parties. For obvious reasons, each party has been striving to dig out the negative issues of other parties to campaign during the election demonstration. The Bharatiya Janata Party mainly focuses on the September 17 issue to intricate TRS party. Kishan Reddy, the BJP state president of Telangana, has been repeatedly daring KCR led TRS party to hold the September 17 celebrations by unfurling the national flag at Golconda. When the Telangana agitation was in its full swing, KCR has given a call to celebrate the day officially in all parts of the region. Now, the government is led by him; and KCR is likely to have a problem with the official celebrations of Telangana Liberation Day on September 17.
From the other end, KCR has tied up an alliance with the AIMIM Party. This may have a direct impact on TRS Party led state government holding the celebrations, officially at Golconda fort as dared by the BJP as the MIM party has previously opposed the move of celebrating the occasion. Also, both the Congress and the Telugu Desam Party have celebrated the occasion officially as parties but never celebrated when they were in power as the ruling party of the state. So, there is no customary practice that the occasion has celebrated officially by the ruling governments.
The Bharatiya Janata Party for sure has understood the complexity in this problem and has been demanding the ruling government to conduct the event officially.
All these things could collectively turn the September 17 celebrations a great dilemma. In this setting, will KCR accept the challenge made by the BJP? If so, how would he tackle this sensitive issue is a definite matter of interest to many. But, sure a man known for his wise and balanced thinking, KCR would go with the best option.
