KCR called on by IAF director general

KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on Tuesday was called on by Air Mshl Ramesh Rai, the Indian Air Force director General, at the state secretariat. It is learnt that he discussed about setting up of an airbase at Adilabad. Later, KCR was called on by BP Rao, the CMD of BHEL at the secretariat.

According to sources, Indian Air Force has been planning to establish an airbase at Adilabad, the bordering district of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, under the Southern Air Command, headquartered at Trivandrum.
