Hyderabad: In order to ease traffic congestion and maintain smooth flow of traffic, the city police have put traffic restrictions in connection with Bibi-ka-Alam procession on November 4, said a release on Sunday.

The police imposed restrictions on the procession route starting from Bibi-ka-Alam, Shaik Faiz Kaman, Etebar Chowk, Alijah Kotla, Charminar, Gulzar House, Purani Haveli, Kali Khabar and culminating at Aza Khana Zohra. The traffic on this route will be diverted to alternative roads. APSRTC district buses will be diverted to Gowliguda and Rang Mahal Road for entry and exit from 10 am to 9 pm on November 4. Buses are not allowed on the Kalikabar Road till the procession ends.

All vehicular traffic proceeding from Hyderabad via Tankbund towards Karbala Maidan will be diverted at Children's Park towards Kavadiguda, Bible House and R P Road. The traffic proceeding from the R P Road towards Karbala Maidan will be diverted at the traffic island near Traffic PS Begumpet, Secunderabad (Bible House) via Tank Bund and will join at DBR Mills ‘T’ Junction.

Mahatma Gandhi Road between the Central Telegraph Island and Ranigunj will be converted into 'one way' towards Ranigunj side. Traffic will be diverted at Ranigunj Junction towards the Ministers Road, depending upon the situation.
