Realty boom at Yadagirigutta
The temple town of Yadagirigutta is slowly on its way to catch up with Vijayawada and Guntur in terms of real estate business. The Stamps and Registration Department officials told The Hans India that they had collected over Rs 5 crore as stamp duty in just four weeks after Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced that he would convert Yadagirigutta into the ‘Vatican city of Telangana.’

The 500-year-old temple town has been abuzz with rumours of huge land transactions since the CM’s announcement of allocation of Rs 100 crore for development of infrastructure in the town and promote it as a big destination for temple tourism. According to official sources, over 1000 acres have been sold out in temple town, which comes under Bhongir division.
