Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Information Technology & Panchayat Raj K Taraka Rama Rao, Industries’ Special Chief Secretary K Pradeep Chandra, MD, TSIIC and Commissioner of Industries Jayesh Ranjan, along with a delegation from FICCI on Sunday visited Smart City, Dubai and interacted with its Chief Executive Officer Abdul-latif Al-Mulla, and Managing Director Dr Baiju George.

During the interaction, the possibility of developing a Smart City in Hyderabad as a part of ‘Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR)’ came up for discussion, according to sources. Mulla expressed his happiness at this offer and has decided to visit Hyderabad within the next one week for follow-up discussions.
