Sircilla (Karimnagar): Students and faculty of Government Junior College for Girls have cleaned the college premises here on Tuesday as part of Swachh Bharat programme.
Speaking on the occasion, college lecturer Anita said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched Swachh Bharat campaign in order to realise the dream of Mahatma Gandhi.
Anitha said that development would take place in the country if the people keep themselves and surroundings clean.
She said that an oath was administered to the students to help keep the villages and towns clean.
She stressed the need for creating awareness on the use of individual toilets.
