Hyderabad: Telangana State Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) registered 192 cases in 2014 against government officials, it said on Friday. According to ACB officials, the cases of 'trap' (caught while taking bribe) topped the list at 123, followed by 11 disproportionate assets (DA) cases.

The investigative agency accredits the success to citizens and newly-opened communication channels like social networking, instant messaging, to report graft. Among the accused, there were 88 gazetted officers and 149 non-gazetted officers.
