Ring road to be built at Gajwel, The State Government has decided to build a ring road around Gajwel, the Chief inister’s home constituency.

Medak: The State Government has decided to build a ring road around Gajwel, the Chief inister’s home constituency. During his visit to the constituency, the Chief Minister has assured the people about this.

The project, which proposes building a 19 kilometre road, would cost Rs 30 crore in the first phase.

This phase covers acquiring lands and preparation of DPRs (Detailed Project Reports). According to official sources, 140.81 acres would be acquired for the project and a target has been set to complete the works under the first phase in three months. During the second phase, the construction work of actual ring road would be taken up. The budget required for execution of works in the second phase would be known only after the DPRs are prepared. The ring road connects Gajwel with Sangareddy, Narsapur, Thupran, Gajwel, Jagdevpur, Rajiv National Highway, Gajwel-Chegunta road and Gajwel-Doulatabad road. This route would also be convenient to people travelling to Hyderabad.

People living in the villages of Muttaraj Palle, Sangupalle, Rajireddy Palle, Jaligan, Bayyaram and Kayasaram would derive benefit from the ring road, according to officials.
