While addressing a gathering after laying foundation stones to three buildings in Karimnagar on Sunday, he said that the government was determined to improve the universities.


Mr. Srihari stated that the varsities will be revitalized even though it is a herculean task and search committees will be formed soon. Also, to ensure employment opportunities to students, steps would be taken to strengthen the higher education.


He said that as some universities are not well equipped with adequate infrastructure including teaching staff; grants are not being awarded to those universities. There is a need to address challenges of these varsities against this scenario, to provide quality education to students.
