KM-ATOM Application Software that is a knowledge management automation of files for administrative works is to be introduced by Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) office.
In the move towards 'paperless' offices developed by Telangana Unit, APTS (Andhra PradeshTechnology Services), the KM-ATOM application software implementation has been developed exclusively for administrative purposes in all government offices.
An official release today stated that from March 2, the move will be taken up in the administrative wing of Telangana DGP office.
The software includes advantages such as inward entry of the currents received, file movement, maintenance of knowledge bank of government orders, creation of files, reports and other important documents in scanned format or as an attachment to the files etc.
Developed under three-tier architecture, the Package completely runs under the Web Based environment that is flexible to operate and user friendly.
The release said that the main objective is for the paperless office and the package is having a facility of files backup maintained by the administrative division of the respective offices itself.
To use the package, hands-on training has been imparted to the officers’ in-charge.
