Branch fall kills LKG student

Gayatri, 5, a LKG student of Saraswati Vidya Niketan, died on Friday afternoon when a branch of a tree on the school campus fell on her. Gayatri and her friends were playing near the school building located in Kongara Kalan in Ibrahimpatnam when suddenly a huge dry branch of the banyan tree came down crashing.

While her friends ran to safety, Gayatri came under the branch. A severely bleeding Gayatri was rushed to a nearby hospital in an unconscious state where she was declared dead on arrival. Parents and teachers of the school mourned her death.
