Khammam: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will launch the works of new bridge across the Godavari river near Bhadrachalam on April 1.
BJP district president Kondapalli Sridhar Reddy on Monday said that Gadkari, along with Minister of State for Labour and Employment, will arrive in Bhadrachalam to launch the works of a bridge across Godavari, which is being built as part of National Highway 221.
Later, Gadkari will launch the works of NH 221 taken up under the National Highway Development Project-IV in EPC mode at VM Banjara in Penuballi mandal. Both the ministers will take part in a public meeting at VM Banjara, Reddy said.
