She Teams constituted in Karimnagar

In view of increasing incidence of harassment and crimes against women, the Karimnagar police department has decided to constitute ‘She Teams’ in the district. District Superintendent of Police V Shiva Kumar, at a press conference here on Tuesday, said the slogan adopted for “She Teams” was that the step was intended to ensure freedom for women. He also said, \"In the first stage we are going to introduce one team in each sub division.

He also said, "In the first stage we are going to introduce one team in each sub division.” However, two team would be constituted in Karimnagar town. The identity of the members of the She teams would be kept secret. After completing their duty of recording the offence, “She teams” would catch the offenders and investigate the cases, he said.
