RTC workers demand wage revision, strike from May 6 the RTC workers are back with a warning to the Government that if their demands are not met, they will head on to strike. Demanding immediate hike in their salaries which was due since April 1, 2014, the RTC employee unions are asking a fitment of 43%.

After failed rounds of discussions over hike in salaries, the RTC employees have staged a strike in the month of March. But with KCR government announcing a special bonus, the matter seemed to be resolved.

However, the RTC workers are back with a warning to the Government that if their demands are not met, they will head on to strike.
Demanding immediate hike in their salaries which was due since April 1, 2014, the RTC employee unions are asking a fitment of 43%.


On April 2nd, the EU-TMU gave a strike notice which stated that if the issue is not resolved, RTC workers will go on indefinite strike from May 6. The government is certain to resolve the issues by April 30; around 1.20 lakh employees who are eligible for salary hike will be taking part in the strike from May 6 if the issue continues.
