Last date extended for payment of Haj installment

Hyderabad: The Haj Committee of India has extended the date for remitting the first instalment of the Haj expenses of Rs. 81,000 from April 30 to May 9. Telangana State Haj Committee special officer Prof SA Shukoor has asked those of the provisionally selected Haj pilgrims who failed to deposit the first instalment and the pilgrims selected under Waiting List to avail of the opportunity and deposit the first instalment on or before May 9. He said that so far, 2530 pilgrims from Telangana and 1798 pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh have deposited their original passports in the office of the State Haj Committee. He requested the remaining pilgrims to deposit their passports in the Haj Committee Office.
