SBH enters MoU with NICL under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana
Hyderabad: The State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) and National Insurance Company Ltd (NICL) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to implement Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana to be launched by the Prime Minister on May 9, 2015. In a statement on Sunday, the SBH said that the PMSBY, a Central government scheme intended to provide security against personal accident risks up to Rs two lakh with a nominal premium of Rs 12.

All the savings bank account holders of SBH in the age group of 18 to 70 are eligible to join the scheme. The scheme will commence from June 1, 2015. All the account holders who have given consent for auto debit before May 31, 2015 will be covered under the scheme for one year effective June 1.
