Health Minister C Laxma Reddy inaugurated tank restoration works at Kotha Cheruvu in Doultabad mandal on Friday. The Telangana government sanctioned Rs 52 lakh for the restoration of Kotha Cheruvu as part of Mission Kakatiya programme. He also inaugurated restoration works of Palle Cheruvu at Appireddypalli village and Oora Cheruvu at Chenwar village in Maddur mandal.
TRS govt doing everything to put State on fast-track: Minister
Kodangal (Mahabubnagar): Health Minister C Laxma Reddy inaugurated tank restoration works at Kotha Cheruvu in Doultabad mandal on Friday. The Telangana government sanctioned Rs 52 lakh for the restoration of Kotha Cheruvu as part of Mission Kakatiya programme. He also inaugurated restoration works of Palle Cheruvu at Appireddypalli village and Oora Cheruvu at Chenwar village in Maddur mandal.
Addressing a public meeting at Kudurmalla in Doultabad mandal, the Minister said that great injustice was done to Telangana region under the undivided state dispensation. He alleged that certain political parties dominated by politicians from Andhra Pradesh are obstructing development in the new state of Telangana.

The Minister pointed out that injustice was done to Telangana people in jobs, funds allocation and sharing of river water prior to formation of Telangana state. He assured that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would render justice to the people of Telangana. Reddy explained to people about various welfare schemes introduced by TRS government.
TRS leaders Gurnath Reddy, S Ramakrishna and officials were present.
