Hyderabad: Indian Immunologicals Limited (IIL) is planning to adopt and transform Laxmapur Zillaparishad High School, Shamirpet Mandal, Ranga District, into a model school. IIL along with the District Education Officials conducted an inaugural ceremony on Friday at the Laxmapur High School premises


K V Balasubramaniam, Managing Director, IIL handing over kit to a  student  Laxmapur Zillaparishad High School, Shamirpet on FridayFor developing schools, the IIL is mulling to invest Rs 50 to 60 lakhs for providing basic amenities like infrastructure development in classrooms, sports grounds, canteen for midday meal, toilets library, science labs, digital class rooms for computer learning, books and school bags for the students.


The IIL also has plans to provide one egg and one banana for each student every day to meet the daily nutrition requirement of the students. The DEO and other state government officials expressed their happiness on IIL’s initiative since it’s a reflection of true social responsibility in the spirit of helping the future of India.


K V Balasubramaniam, Managing Director, IIL, Dr K Anand Kumar, Deputy Managing Director, IIL and other officials of IIL along with DEO G. Ramesh, Head Master G Balesha and K Shyamala, Laxmapur Sarpanch were also present.
