The Home Minister inaugurated new police station buildings under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits, built at an estimated cost of Rs 45 crore.


A building complex built at a cost of Rs 10 crore for Cyberabad Commissionerate and Municipal Complex building constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore at Gachibowli was also inaugurated by the Home Minister. He also inaugurated a Traffic police station in Madhapur and another police station at Jagadgirigutta.


Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said police top brass were striving to bring police close to the people. He said the 1,000 close circuit video cameras installed in Hyderabad would help police tighten security. The State government was planning to install another 4,000 more close circuit cameras in Hyderabad City. Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy, DGP Anurag Sharma and several police officers were present.
