Earlier in the day, Sandra was taken to Osmania Hospital for medical examination.
Sandra was booked as the A5 accused in the cash-for-note scam.
The ACB also filed petition in the court seeking five-day custody of the Sattupally MLA for questioning, a senior ACB official said.
The ACB took Sandra into their custody after grilling him for seven hours on Monday.
Protesting against the arrest of Sandra, his followers and TDP activists called for a shutdown in Sattupally.
