Court dismisses Revanth’s plea for easing curbs

Justice MSK Jaiswal of the High Court at Hyderabad on Monday dismissed a petition seeking relaxation of certain conditions to the bail granted to TDP MLA Revanth Reddy in the cash-for-vote scam. It may be recalled that the High Court had granted conditional bail to the petitioner and one of the conditions was that the MLA must not leave his constituency,Kodangal in Mahboobnagar.

Justice MSK Jaiswal of the High Court at Hyderabad on Monday dismissed a petition seeking relaxation of certain conditions to the bail granted to TDP MLA Revanth Reddy in the cash-for-vote scam. It may be recalled that the High Court had granted conditional bail to the petitioner and one of the conditions was that the MLA must not leave his constituency,Kodangal in Mahboobnagar.


The petitioner wanted the condition to be relaxed. He said his daughter’s wedding was fixed in the month of December and he had lot of work in Hyderabad on the said issue. The judge, while dismissing the petition, said that the petition was premature and refused to relax the conditions. Justice Jaiswal however relaxed the conditions to Uday Simha and Sebastian the other two accused in the case. He directed them to appear before the investigating agency once in three days instead of daily.
