Hyderabad: The case pertaining to the publication of a satirical snippet titled “No Boring Babu” on a bureaucrat in the Chief Minister’s office in the issue of June 6 seems to be taking a curious turn. According to sources, the correspondent Madhavi Tata, who filed the report, has been asked to appear before the police for questioning on Tuesday.

The woman correspondent, according to the Outlook management, was being pressurised by the police for her personal presence despite the matter was pending adjudication before the High Court. It is said that a case against Outlook has been registered by the Crime Station and the possibility of arresting Madhavi on Tuesday is not ruled out.

The Editor in Chief of Outlook Krishna Prasad had written a letter to the Governor E S L Narsimhan on Sunday, urging him to use his “good offices to bring an element of balance and restraint on Hyderabad Police.”
