Committee set up for children’s film fest
The Telangana government on Monday constituted an organising committee to oversee the arrangements for the 19th International Children’s Film Festival to be held in the city from November 14 to 20. The 42-member committee will be headed by Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma at its chairman. Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Monday constituted an organising committee to oversee the arrangements for the 19th International Children’s Film Festival to be held in the city from November 14 to 20. The 42-member committee will be headed by Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma at its chairman. While Secretary of Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Bimal Julka and Children's Film Society chairman Mukesh Khanna will be the co-chairmen, I&PR Commissioner B P Acharya has been nominated as Vice-Chairman and Chief Coordinator.
Bolloywood Actress Dia Mirza, Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce president P Ram Mohan Rao, Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce president D Suresh Babu, filmmaker B Narsing Rao, IMAX Managing Director A Ramesh Prasad, director N Shankar, producer K Basireddy, producer and director M Venkateswar Rao, Telangana Television Forum president D Suresh Kumar, film journalist K Suresh and Telangana Cinema & TV Artistes Association president B Narsingh Yadav are among the members.
