Gulbarga robber fires in the air near Jubilee Hills, L&T metro worker hurt

A gang of three suspected thieves, fired in the air in a bid to rob a showroom in Jubilee Hills on Thursday.

According to reports, the three accused arrived in the city from Gulbarga with an intention to carry out a big robbery. Police received information that they are near Road No. 36 and rushed to the spot immediately. The Task Force police have been carrying out the operation to nab them for the past three days.

Upon seeing the police, one of the suspects pulled out his revolver and opened two rounds of fire in the air.

An L&T Metro worker, who was working on the metro rail project suffered injury on his chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police managed to catch the two persons, while the third accused fled the spot. A manhunt is on to nab the third accused.
