The Special Court dealing with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted trial for the accused in the Dilsukhnagar twin bomb blasts case inside the Cherlapally Central Prison. The trial was held on the jail premises after the Cyberabad police told the Court that the five accused in the case were planning to escape from the prison.

Hyderabad: The Special Court dealing with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted trial for the accused in the Dilsukhnagar twin bomb blasts case inside the Cherlapally Central Prison. The trial was held on the jail premises after the Cyberabad police told the Court that the five accused in the case were planning to escape from the prison.


Yasin Bhatkal, Asadullah Akthar, Tehseen Akthar, Waqas Ahmed and Ejaz Sheikh were the accused in the case. As many as 12 witnesses were examined. The trial will continue for two more days on Tuesday and Wednesday.The five arrested persons, according to prosecution, were active members of Indian Mujahedeen, the banned terror outfit that was responsible for several bombings across India.
