The Minister participated in various developmental activities in Gollegudem, Chipuragudem and Patvarigudem villages of Dammepet mandal of Khammam district here on Tuesday.

He inaugurated the Tribal Welfare building in Gollegudem comprising 12 rooms which was constructed at a cost of Rs 63 lakh along with a hostel building comprising 10 rooms constructed at a cost of 50 lakh in Gollegudem village.

The Minister also inaugurated a Tribal Welfare building with 12 rooms along with the hostel which was constructed at a cost of Rs. 80 lakhs in Chipuragudem. And in Patvarigudem village of Dammapet mandal, he inaugurated road works worth Rs 24 crores.

Minister Nageshwar Rao had inaugurated the Telangana Talli Statue in Patvarigudem village.Speaking on the occasion the Minister directed the ITDA In-charge Project Officer Kali Charan to take necessary actions for cutting the agency allowances if the headmaster and teachers were not staying in the headquarters.

He also ordered the officials to serve the meals according to the menu to the students in the hostels. He urged the officials and the students to bring the problems if any to his notice.

MLA Thati Venkateshwarlu, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Gadepalli Kavitha, DCCB Chairman Muvva Vijay Babu, Tribal Welfare Executive Engineer N Shankar, Divisional Engineer P V Gopala Rao, ZPTC D Sarojini and others were present.
