The Hyderabad High Court quashed a case pending against actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi at Nandyal police station in Kurnool district. A case was registered against him for taking part in a road show on the grounds of causing disturbance to traffic in 2008.
He was the erstwhile PRP president when the case was booked. Chiranjeevi urged the court to quash the petition stating that there was no independent complainant to report the crime. After the argument, the court quashed the petition.
