KCR meets top business honchos from China

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao met top business honchos from China here on Friday. During this meeting the government inked two MoUs with a prefab manufacturing company Sany group.

These agreements were entered into during dinner meeting hosted by the Chief Minister to a 45-member Chinese investors’ delegation at Taj Falaknuma Palace on Friday evening.

TSIIC Secretary (in-charge) and Housing Secretary Dana Kishore signed the agreements on behalf of the government.

It may be mentioned here that Chinese delegation is visiting the State in response to Chandrashekar Rao’s red-carpet welcome to industrialists from the Asian nation during his tour last month.

Ministers Eatala Rajender, Jupally Krishna Rao, K Tarakarama Rao, Indrakaran Reddy, G Jagdish Reddy, CMO authorities, senior IAS officers including Pradip Chandra, MG Gopal, Somesh Kumar among others were also present.

Earlier the bureaucrats gave a PowerPoint presentation on the State’s plans to make it a power surplus State, development of urban areas, especially roads, focus on infrastructural facilities, 2-bedroom housing among others.

Speaking later, Chandrashekar Rao thanked the Chinese delegation for accepting his invitation to visit the Telangana State.

He explained about the State’s unique Industrial policy and government’s strong commitment to ensure zero graft in the process.

He appealed to them to explore all opportunities of investing big time in the Industry-friendly Telangana State.
