A MBA student has been elected as the President of Maulana Azad National Urdu University.Chief returning officer, Prof. PF Rahman said that Akmal Ali Khan, a student of MBA course, would be the fourth president of University’s student body.

Hyderabad: A MBA student has been elected as the President of Maulana Azad National Urdu University.Chief returning officer, Prof. PF Rahman said that Akmal Ali Khan, a student of MBA course, would be the fourth president of University’s student body.

Asjad Sultan, Mohammad Zafar Khan, Mohd. Azfar and Shariqa Ashraf were elected for the posts of vice president, secretary, joint secretary and treasurer respectively.

Besides the headquarters, polling was also held at campuses of University at Bengaluru, Lucknow, Bhopal, Srinagar, Darbhanga, Aurangabad, Asansol, Sambhal, Nuh and Bidar on Wednesday. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at DDE Auditorium today.
